    Even if your site has relatively little content, you can still rank well if your main piece of content is linked to NATURALLY by HIGH AUTHORITY sites.

    This happens to Medium posts quite a bit-it's not the platform but the VALUE of the content and WHO finds the content.

    It is possible for your site to rank if it is properly optimized (on page) for its targeted keywords, AND you build quality backlinks to that site. Since your website is new, it will take longer for it to rank highly (unless your keywords have very little to no competition).
